We are a warm and friendly parish seeking to love and serve God and our community
As a parish, we run a number of regular and one-off activities for all ages.
We hold monthly Men's Breakfasts on the third Saturday of every month with speakers, cooked breakfast and lively discussion. Mothers' Union has both an afternoon and evening group. Holiday at Home offers a day out for Senior Citizens with home cooked lunch and entertainment. Afternoon Guild meets fortnightly and has a programe of speakers on a diverse range of topics. We have regular Traidcraft stalls at both churches, and Fairtrade evenings.
Housegroups run throughout the year, and all members of the church are encouraged to join. They provide fun, fellowship and mutual support as we grow together in our faith. In addition to the regular groups meeting in the evening in people's homes, we have Novo, a group for women with child care to give mums time out for prayer and fellowship (and cake!), and a men's prayer breakfast on the first Saturday of each month for study, prayer and fellowship.
There are a range of activities for children and young people. We run regular Junior churches at morning services at St Boniface and St Martins, four children's groups alongside church@4, and Ignite for 14-18years olds following the service. There are also occasional events such as Activity days and a summer Holiday Club, and we host a termly area wide youth service.
On Tuesday mornings we run Little Stars, a friendly baby and toddler group, at St. Martins.
